Hi, I’m Emma!

I am from Leesburg, Virginia, where I graduated from Freedom High School. I attended James Madison University and earned my degree in Social Work, but I wasn't done there! I became a Double Duke shortly after and earned my MS degree in Leadership and Management.

While in graduate school, I served as the graduate assistant for the Office of Admissions, which sparked my passion for working with prospective students and families. I served as the Recruiting & Admissions Coordinator for Girls Who Invest, a non-profit dedicated to transforming the finance industry by offering opportunities for women and gender non-binary individuals. I was responsible for reading hundreds of applications and sculpting two program classes with a 4% admit rate, an incredibly selective and exclusive process.

I have a keen eye for detail, and I am able to understand the challenges of reading hundreds of strongly written essays and compelling short answers. I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and professional goals, and I believe that every student should have the access they need to pursue their passions and interests!

When I'm not working, you can find me at the beach, running on the local trail, or reading in my favorite spot on the couch. Reading and writing have always been a passion of mine (AP Lit was my favorite high school class!), and I believe in the power of knowledge and strive to always be learning.
