College Essay Advising
Class of 2025 — Full | Class of 2026— Reservations Available
College essay advising focuses on the writing components of applications. Students must provide their college list prior to getting started. This guidance includes:
✓ Understanding the purpose and characteristics of strong college application essays
✓ Mapping out all required writing components, creating an overall strategy to effectively utilize this important part of college applications
✓ Brainstorming to identify topics that will demonstrate the student’s experiences, values, and insights
✓ Reviewing drafts and providing critique to help strengthen and improve the student’s writing skills
Standard Package
4 hours of consultation + 1 hour of additional draft review
This is a good fit for students who:
✓ Are applying to colleges with no or very few supplemental essays
✓ Don't have additional essays for honors programs and/or scholarships

Extended Package
8 hours of consultation + 2 hours of additional draft review
This is a good fit for students who:
✓ Are applying to multiple colleges that require supplemental essays
✓ Are applying to honors programs and/or scholarships that require essays

Premium Package
12 hours of consultation + 3 hours of additional draft review
This is a good fit for students who:
✓ Are applying to numerous colleges that require supplemental essays and/or highly selective schools
✓ Are applying to multiple honors programs and/or scholarships that require essays
